Bonnie Woodell
I began my real estate career in the late 1950’s in Dallas, Texas, soon after my marriage to Fred Woodell, President and owner of
Rotex Manufacturing, a company that designed and made the Craftsman Tools for Sears and Roebuck. In 1968 we moved our family to
Kerrville, Texas. Fred became a Country Gentleman rancher
and I owned a Western Store. It was with this experience that led me back into real estate. I opened my first award winning office in Kerrvile 1978 with the Realty World franchise. In 1983 I sold
this office to Coldwell Bankers, staying on and continuing a successful career. In future years I owned and operated three more offices in Kerrville. With the death of my husband in 2004, I closed the office known as Internet Realty-Bonnie Woodell.
In 2005 I started my search for a perfect spot to build my retirement home. I found it and now live on the banks of the Llano River in Llano, Texas. I enjoy being close to my two daughters; Susan who is a long time nurse at Seton Hospital, Burnet, TX, and Karen Marion who is also a working realtor in the area. I have the joys of being a Grandmother as well as a Great Grandmother.
Some think I am nuts for not staying home and being RETIRED . . . and I ask myself WHY on earth would I quit doing what I have been doing for more than 40 years; being a professional Realtor has and is one of my proudest achievements — serving buyers and sellers — leaving them happy that they chose a Realtor.
I am pleased they chose me — Bonnie Woodell, a senior who enjoys the fact that I can still show a home or hop in the Expedition and show a TEXAS BIG RANCH. So if you don't get in a big hurry I can still find it . . . just share your dream and maybe, with luck . . . together we will find it.
